Is virtual therapy actually as effective as in-person?
Yes. Research consistently shows teletherapy is as effective as in-person therapy for most mental health concerns, with the same therapeutic relationship and quality of care.
Is the video platform secure and private?
Yes. We use a HIPAA-compliant platform built specifically to protect your privacy and confidentiality, the same standard as any professional medical technology.
What technology do I need?
Just a device with a camera, a microphone, and a stable internet connection, like a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. We'll walk you through the platform before your first session.
Can specialized therapies like EMDR really work virtually?
Yes. EMDR, IFS, hypnotherapy, and our other specialized approaches have all been adapted for secure virtual delivery, without losing their effectiveness.
What states can you see me in?
We're licensed to provide teletherapy in New York, New Jersey, Indiana, and Florida. If you're located in one of these states, we can work together virtually.
What if I don't have much privacy at home?
Many clients use headphones, a car, or a private corner of their home to create enough privacy for a session. We can also talk through options together if this feels tricky.
Do you offer early morning or evening appointments?
Yes. We offer flexible scheduling, including early morning and evening slots, to accommodate demanding or nontraditional schedules.
I've never done therapy before. Is virtual a good place to start?
Absolutely. For many people, the comfort and privacy of being in their own space actually makes it easier to open up during a first experience with therapy.
